Kawase Hasui Winter Scenes Holiday Cards

Cards developed from Kawase Hasui¡¯s Miyajima in Snow (Yuki no Miyajima),1929 and Mt. Fuji, Clearing after a Snowfall in Oshiono (Fuji no yukibare (Oshiono fukin)), 1953, from The Art Institute of Chicago¡¯s collection. Hasui’s works were commonly landscapes, but displayed atmospheric effects and natural lighting. These two cards feature the snow covered landscapes of wintertime. The cards are made from a sustainable FSC certified mix paper and vegetable-based inks. Card dimensions: 5 x 7 in.
