Keychain developed from Vincent van Gogh¡¯s Self-Portrait, 1887, from The Art Institute of Chicago¡¯s collection. Van Gogh created at least twenty-four self-portraits during his two-year stay in Paris. This early example is modest in size and was painted on prepared artist¡¯s board rather than canvas. Its densely dabbed brushwork, which became a hallmark of Van Gogh¡¯s style. A great gift for yourself of a friend. Dimensions of charm: 1.375 x 1.25 in. Materials: Brass with colored enamel.
